Blue Goose Publishing is my independent, founder-led publishing house. It's a one-woman enterprise. I am Maïté Grisard.
This project was not created by a corporation, a committee, or an investment fund. It was created by me: a thinker, a writer, and a consultant who decided to stop waiting for permission and start building.
As a business consultant working across countries and industries, I help organizations collaborate, adapt, and move toward shared goals. I bring this same systems perspective to publishing: understanding how narratives shape behavior and how they can be redesigned.
I choose independence over compromise. Instead of separating 'author' and 'publisher,' I embraced both. Instead of outsourcing my vision, I embodied it.
Blue Goose Publishing is my platform, my laboratory, and my commitment to meaningful change. I work with outstanding editors, designers, and collaborators around the world.
Why I publish
Too much of what we are offered today trains us to feel small, isolated, and powerless while the world urgently needs courage, cooperation, and imagination.
I believe stories are not entertainment first. They are infrastructure. They shape what we think is normal, possible, and worth fighting for. For too long, our collective imagination has been occupied by collapse, violence, and cynicism.
Stop, no more.
This is not about pretending everything is fine. It is about rehearsing better futures until we are brave enough to build them.
A Note on Submissions for Authors
At this stage, my primary focus is on publishing and learning from my first two books.
I am intentionally taking this time to build strong editorial and operational processes. I am working to understand distribution and promotion in depth. I am developing sustainable systems to support authors. My goal is to ensure that Blue Goose Publishing can serve others with integrity, care, and long-term commitment.
Before opening formal submissions, I want to be confident that this house is capable of serving writers with professionalism.
